Chinese Entrepreneur Delegation to UK

Experts from Global Alliance of SEMs said, now is the best time to invest in UK for Chinese entrepreneur! A wave of investment in UK from Chinese companies is expected to come in 2009.

The financial crisis has caused sharp pound depreciation against RMB by more than 30% and posed an unprecedented shock to UK's economy. At the beginning of 2008, the pound exchange rate against RMB was 1:14, and at the end of 2008, it has broken through 10 for the first time. Now, pound exchange rate against RMB is still around 10. A rare opportunity for Chinese companies to make investments in UK is presented with the pound tumbling sharply in the exchange market.

Therefore, a decision to organize "Chinese entrepreneur delegation to UK" is made by Global Alliance of SEMs, Sino-British Chamber of Commerce and US-China Exchange Association to take the opportunity on investment in UK.

The issues related to the conference are as follows:

I. Qualifications for members of delegation

  1. Registered capital of company over RMB1 million Yuan and having intention of investing in UK.
  2. Over 30 years old and married.
  3. Serving as general manager/deputy general manager, president/vice president of the company.
  4. Personal assets (including deposit, house and car) over RMB500,000 Yuan;
  5. Excellent entry records.
