Global Alliance of SMEs
(GASME)
Jointly created by over a dozen founding organizations such as the US-China Exchange Association, British-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Asia-Pacific SME Cooperation Center and MeetChinaBiz in partnership with more than a hundred other prominent trade organizations around the world, the Global Alliance of SMEs (GASME) was incorporated in the United States as a non-profit multinational NGO
Mission Statement
The alliance's mission is to
- Create a bilateral / multilateral exchange platform for SMEs worldwide
- Enable mutually beneficial collaborations among SMEs worldwide
- Promote healthy and sustainable development of SMEs worldwide
Organizational Structure
The Global Chairman, Executive Chairman, Executive Vice Chairman, Senior Vice Chairmen and Secretary Generals form the GASME's Global Leadership Council. The day-to-day operations of the alliance are carried out by its secretariats. The US Secretariat and the China Secretariat are located inside USCEA's US and China headquarters, respectively. The other secretariats are located inside partner trade organizations around the world appointed by the Alliance.
Partner Trade Organizations
The alliance has about 100 partner trade organizations from 15 countries on 5 continents, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, South Africa, United Kingdom, and the United States.
Major Undertakings
- Send constructive proposals to government agencies around the world advocating SME international exchange and cooperation.
- Organize and host Global SME Expos.
- Organize and host regional cross-border business matchmaking conferences such as US-China and Europe-China Business Matchmaking Conferences.
- Implement the Alliance's Global SME Cooperation Program.
- Implement the Alliance's Global Small & Midsize City Cooperation Program.
- Set up the Alliance's Global Industry Cluster Co-op Centers.
- Launch the Alliance's Global SME Start-up Campuses and Global SME Tech Incubation Centers.
- Conduct the Alliance's Global SME Global-ready Professional Training Camp.
- Implement the Alliance's Overseas Listing Fostering Program for SMEs.
- Confer the Alliance's Top 10 Global SME Movers & Shakers Award.
- Publish an annual report on Global SMEs.
Alliance Member Constituents
The GASME community currently consists of over 1.5 million companies from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, South Africa, United Kingdom, and the United States, among other countries.
