The Global Alliance of SMEs (GASME) is a non-profit multinational NGO approved by the US government, and was founded by the US-China Exchange Association (USCEA) together with more than one hundred prominent trade organizations from the G20 countries in 2009.
The mission for GASME is to build a global SME collaboration platform for a greater future.
GASME’s Administrative Headquarters is in New Jersey, USA, and its Operational Headquarters is in Shanghai, China. GASME has also set up its European Center in Paris, France; African Center in Johannesburg, South Africa; South American Center in Lima, Peru; and Asian Center in Seoul, South Korea.
GASME’s Global Advisors include Mr. Lee Myung-bak, Former President of the Republic of Korea; Mr. Christian Wulff, Former President of Germany; and Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Former Prime Minister of France. Mr. Carlos Magariños, Former UNIDO Director-General, serves as GASME’s Chairman Emeritus. Senior Vice Chairmen of GASME mainly include former ministers from G20 countries. GASME operates the Center for World Economic Studies, Institute for Global Business Leadership, Internet Finance Committee, and Future Business Leaders Club. The Secretary-General of GASME assumes the overall operational responsibilities of the Alliance.
GASME is the expert and leader in the exchange and cooperation among global SMEs. On November 22nd, 2012, GASME was granted the Consultative Status with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
GASME has become the leading organizer of high-level forums – Global SMEs Summit, China’s SMEs Global Development Forum, Global Forum for Fortune 500 and SME Cooperation and Global Forum for Presidents of Business Associations are GASME’s four major international conferences.

GASME actively promotes bilateral and multilateral cooperation among SMEs worldwide. Currently, “SME Global EZPath Program”, “1000 China-Africa SMEs Partnership Program”, and “1000 China-South Korea SMEs Partnership Program” are being implemented.
GASME is a provider of public services designed to promote the international development of SMEs. White Paper on Global SMEs Development, Global SMEs Development Index, and White Paper on the Investment Environment of Countries Along the Belt and Road Initiative have been or are being introduced to the public.
GASME is a cultivator of SMEs global leaders. “Chinese Future Entrepreneur Youth Camp Program” is currently under implementation.
GASME is building the “United Nations” of SMEs. It has established the Global Alliance of Business Organizations with the initial goal of inviting at least 1000 prominent business organizations from 237 countries and regions to join this Alliance, creating the Cooperation Net for Global Business Organizations.
