2004 US-China Business Building Conference (Boston)

2004 US-China Business Building Conference (Boston), organized by USCEA in association with the Pan-New England International Entrepreneur Alliance (iNetwork128/MeetChinaBiz.org), the Alliance for the Commonwealth, Massachusetts Export Center and US Small Business Administration (US SBA), was held on November 10th, 2004 in Boston.


Mr. Shawn He, Chair of the Pan-New England International Entrepreneur Alliance iNetwork128, delivered his welcome speech at the opening ceremony, followed by Mr. Robert Ward, Executive Director, Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment, and Ms. Linda Noonan, Executive Director, Alliance for the Commonwealth. Mr. Demao Xu, Secretary-General of China's Tangshan City, among other Chinese and US government officials, also attended the conference.


Over 70 executives from China and over 100 from the US, representing industries ranging from consumer products, electronics, recreation and retail, to chemical, construction materials, machinery and pharmaceuticals, attended this hugely successful conference, resulting in more than 40 Letters of Intent (LOIs) signed between US and Chinese companies on business partnerships.

Upon the completion of the conference, the Chinese delegation went on with their market investigative tour to New York, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles, during which they met with a group of Maryland entrepreneurs as well as the Economic Alliance of San Fernando Valley in LA.
